| Vaishali was doing ramp shows in Bangalore and was a supermodel. Her first show was when she was fourteen She was seen in a Compaq laptop ad and in Raymond's famous commercial. She is now seen in another Tanishq announcement with Nafisa Ali. She has advertised products such as Swarnam Oil and Power detergent. Vaishali was seen in an advertisement with Shah Rukh Khan for Sunfeast and in an advertisement by Dabur Gulabari. Vaishali had participated in the elite look contest of the year and was the second finalist. Vaishali participated in the Miss India Pond Contest and was the third to become Miss India International, even though she was not one of five finalists. Vaishali then left the same year for the Miss International contest in Tokyo but failed to win because of his conjunctivitis.Vaishali directed parades for the best Indian designers.
