| Born in Hyderabad and raised in Gujranwala, Qamar moved to Lahore to pursue his studies. Qamar debuted in Lahore on PTV Home's television series Mein Aurat Hoon.She won the PTV Award for Best Television Actress in the Public Choice and Jury categories at the 16th Annual PTV Awards, held on July 23, 2011 for her role in Tinkay. This was followed by a supportive role in PTV Home's women's social drama, Bint e Adam. His role in the series was of a rich kid who falls in love with a boy of poor origin, and marries him against the desires of his cruel father. Bint e Adam was a great critical and commercial hit, however, critics noted that his role was "limited" from an actor point of view. She won the Best Actress TV award for her role as Suraiya in Dastaan, during the first Pakistan Media Awards (2010), and was also awarded the Best Actress TV Award in the Audience and Jury categories. at the 16th edition of the PTV Awards. (2011). She won the Best Actress Award at the 17th PTV Awards (2012) for her role in Tera Pyar Nahin Bhoole. Tags:
