|Rimi Sen is an Indian actress and producer who has starred in Bollywood, Telugu and Bengali films. Film comedy Hungama for which she was nominated at the Filmfare Awards for best female first prize. The same year also appeared in a supporting role in Hit Film Baghban. She also participated in the Bigg Boss Indian reality TV show in 2015.Sen was born Subhamitra Sen in Kolkata, West Bengal. She graduated from Bidya Bharati Girls High School in 1998.She graduated from the University of Calcutta with a degree in Commerce.

|Since her childhood, Sen dreamed of becoming an actress. She lived at Jyotish Roy Road, New Alipore, Kolkata with her mother. She studied at Vidya Bharati New Alipore near Mint. After completing her studies, she persuaded her mother to accompany her to Mumbai.
She later said she was not being encouraged by anyone in her family except her grandfather. After going around, she made announcements, including a Coca-Cola ad with Aamir Khan. She was immediately noticed and her first film offers began to arrive.
She followed with appearances in big budget films such as Dhoom (2004), Kyon Ki (2005), Garam Masala (2005) and Golmaal (2006). Sen also made an appearance in the 2006 movie Dhoom 2, and she followed with Johnny Gaddaar, alongside actor Neil Nitin Mukesh. In 2008, she appeared in De Taali and in 2009, Sankat City and Horn Ok Pleasse. These three films were all box office disasters. After these films, his career has declined.
