She is an Indian actress, producer and model who appears mainly in Hindi films. She  made her debut with the successful film Patthar Ke Phool (1991)  and received the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year for her performance. Her next films, Mohra (1994), Dilwale (1994) and Laadla (1994), were box office hits, while the third earned her a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress Filmfare Award.  She played with Shahrukh Khan for the first time in Zamaana Deewana; the film failed  in 1995. She judged season 1 of CEO's Got Talent on CNBC TV18 with Mahesh Bhatt and Raj Nayak in 2014.

Career

Mohra and Laadla were respectively the second and seventh biggest hits of 1994. Other releases include the Imtihaan thriller and the cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna. His career resumed with successful films such as Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996)  and Ziddi (1997), two great successes of their respective years.In 1998, Tandon had eight outings. His last outing of the same year, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, with Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda topping the bill, proved to be the second biggest hit of the year. In 2015, she made a comeback on Bollywood in her friend Anurag Kashayp's famous Bombay Velvet. Playing a sensual jazz singer, her short performance was hailed by critics . In 2017, she was seen in the suspense movie Maatr in which she played a mother who seeks revenge for the rape of her daughter. Her performance was appreciated and critically acclaimed for her performance. Her next release of the year was Onb's Shab, where she played a social role. In addition, she also promised to return the gift of Anurag Kashyap.
