| Prachi Desai is a Bollywood Indian film and a former television actress. She began her television career as the lead protagonist of the hit television series Kasamh Se on Zee TV. She made her Bollywood debut in the movie Rock On !! in 2008. His other notable features include Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010), Bol Bachchan (2012) and I, Me Aur Main (2013). | In 2006, Desai was selected to star in the televised drama of Ekta Kapoor, Kasamh Se. She was cast as Bani, in front of television actor Ram Kapoor. The show earned her several awards, including the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.Desai then entered Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the Indian version of BBC Strictly Come Dancing on September 7, 2007 with choreographer Deepak Singh. Desai was eliminated on November 10, 2007, but again entered the contest via a wild card and eventually won the contest. Desai received the dance star of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In 2012, she appeared in Teri Meri Kahaani in a cameo role. Desai then appeared in a leading role in Bol Bachchan against Abhishek Bachchan, with Ajay Devgn and Asin . The film has proven to be Desai's biggest commercial success to date.Desai then appeared in I, Me Aur Main (2013) with John Abraham and Chitrangada Singh.She made another film Policegiri with Sanjay Dutt .
