After appearing in the Priyadarshan advertisement, he offered her a chance to play a role in her Tamil film production, and Pia accepted the offer after an audition. The comedy film, Poi Solla Porom, was directed by A. L. Vijay and featured Karthik Kumar and Nassar in key roles. At the release of the film, the film was hailed by critics and favorable critics, with Pia's performance described as "sparkling and joyful" .
On the last day of the sets for Aegan, Ajith Kumar presented it to director Venkat Prabhu, who signed it for Goa six months later, to appear as Jai's love interest in the film. During the making of the film in Langkawi, the team mentioned that the hotel was haunted and that Pia had told a strange experience in her hotel room.
Pia's next album was K. V. Anand's political thriller Ko, in which she played a journalist, Saraswathi, alongside Jeeva, Karthika Nair and Ajmal. Before her release, Pia revealed that the film will mark a milestone in her career, citing that she is waiting for the release of the film fiercely.
