She  is an Indian actress and former beauty queen. She won the title of Femina Miss India Earth in 2005 and made her debut with the movie Miss Lovely, which participated in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2012 Cannes Film Festival . She made her feature debut with Ashim Ahluwalia's retro drama, Miss Lovely. The film competed in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2012 Cannes Film Festival . She played the role of Pinky, a mysterious, dark-hued ingenuist, for whom she earned rave reviews for her performance and a nomination for the most promising newcomer to the 21st Screen Awards. She was selected for Berlinale Talents, an initiative of the Berlin International Film Festival  in the year 2016.

Career

Niharika participated in Femina Miss India in 2005 and won the title of Miss India Earth with subtitles for Miss Photogenic and Miss Beautiful Hair. She then represented India at Miss Earth 2005 in the Philippines. She has appeared in television commercials, print ads, music videos and has hosted the Banungi Main Miss India reality TV series. Her film career began when she signed a contract for 10 films with Raj Kanwar in 2006. Singh made a brief appearance in Anwar Ka Ajab Kissa of Buddhadeb Dasgupta, which was premiered at the London Film Festival 2013. Then she performed in Bappaditya Bandopadhyay's Sohra Bridge, which was screened at the 46th International Film Festival. of India's film after his untimely death.
