Feryna began her career in leading roles in music videos byA.R. Rehman and Hariharan. Soon after, in 2010, she made her Bollywood debut in Sadiyaan. She was also voted one of the most popular Bollywood actresses for this film under 2010. The late Indian filmmaker Yash Chopra once said she was "beauty, innocence and vulnerability personified" .
Feryna then starred in Rang Rasiya of Ketan Mehta, who won the Audience Award at the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) in 2011 before its release in 2014. In the film, based on the life of Raja Ravi Varma, Indian painter plays a journalist and the third woman of his life.In 2012, Feryna also directed a British short film called Khaana, directed by LIFF Artistic Director Cary Sawhney. The film explores the boundaries between home and the outside world and Feryna embodies a young orthodox Muslim woman who loves the British fish and chips dish.
In 2016, Feryna appeared in the movie Airlift, in the role of Tasneem, alongside Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur, in Kuwait in 1990, when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait. Directed by Raja Menon and produced by Nikhil Advani, the film is based on the largest evacuation of Indians living in Kuwait during the war between Iraq and Kuwait, a feat that places India in Guinness world records. The film was released on January 22, 2016. Feryna greatly appreciated the critics and the audience for her brilliant performance in the film.
