|Babita also known as Babita Kapoor, is a former Indian actress of Sindhi and British descent, featured in Hindi films. Daughter of actor Hari Shivdasani, she is the first cousin of her contemporary actress Sadhana Shivdasani.
Babita was born in Bombay by actor Hari Shivdasani, from a Hindu Sindhi family who had migrated from Pakistan to India after the partition and from a British Christian mother, Maria Shivdasani. His sister, Meena Advani, is the owner of Powermaster Engineers Private Limited and Power-Master Tools Private Limited. The late actress Sadhana Shivdasani was her first cousin and contemporary.

However, the first film she signed was actually Raaz (1967) with Rajesh Khanna, released in 1967.
Her greatest box office successes were Dus Lakh with Sanjay Khan, Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati and Haseena Maan Jayegi (1968). ).
