Aditi Chengappa is an Indian actress who appears in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema.Aditi was born in Bangalore. His father, Raj Chengappa, Coorgi of Karnaraka, is the editorial director of The India Today Group (Noida), while his mother, Tamil-era Usha Chengappa, is the director of Delhi Artistic Yoga of Bharat Thakur. She is related to Rukmini Devi Arundale, Indian theosophist, Indian ballet dancer and choreographer Bharatnatyam and Carnatic musician and singer Carnatic D. K. Pattammal, both of whom are her great-aunts.
Aditi studied at Vasant Valley School and then at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. She was trained in both classical Hindustani and Western singing.She is also an accomplished pianist, representing both school and college. She said that "music was my only passion until I became interested in the theater, music is my first love". She is a big fan of yoga and a playful maniac. When she was at university, she organized a health show, "Bodylicious" on NDTV Good Times, with her mother, Usha Chengappa.
