| Shashank Vyas made his debut with Jagdish / Jagya in Balika Vadhu's color series in July 2010. His performance in the show earned him critical and popular acclaim and he became one of the television actors. the most favorite of India. After playing Jagdish at Balika Vadhu for five years, Shashank left the show in July 2016.
His last episode aired on August 8, 2016; he was replaced by Shakti Anand. He then appeared in the lead role of an army officer, Captain Ravish Vashisth, on Star Plus's Yellow Na Dil Se Door.
