| The actress and singer, Zara Khan, was born of the Agha & Khan families, who both excelled in film and sports. Zara is the daughter of the famous squash player Rehmat Khan and the singer / actress Salma Agha, being the granddaughter of Nasrullah Khan She has a younger brother, Liaqat Ali Khan, a half-brother Tariq Khan , and two half-sisters Suraiya Khan and Natasha Khan (better known as Bat for Lashes, a British songwriter). His maternal lineage has a very important name in the Indian film industry, which dates back to the 1940s when his great grandfather Jugal Kishore Mehra, was also uncle at Bollywood Icon, Raj Kapoor, of a dynasty as important for Indian cinema as Kennedys to politics.
Agha made his film debut in the romantic thriller Aurangzeb of Yash Raj, in front of Arjun Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran.The film revolves around twin brothers, who find themselves caught in a quagmire of sex and lies. The Times of India wrote about Agha's performance: "Sasha is small, bitter, and has a beautiful figure, but her portrait of the gilded bitch, like Parveen Babi's in Deewaar, is tasteless. "After her first film, 'Aurangzeb', Zara recently starred in a short film entitled "Khoj" which was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
She used her vocal talent early in her school life. His first recording, the song "Barbaadiyaan", appeared with Ram Sampath in the 2013 film Aurangzeb.
