- She is from Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
- She has been teaching Kathak classical dance and classical music since childhood. With passion for the same, she moved to Delhi to explore opportunities in dance. What she sees as the learning phase of her life and also calls her the golden period because of the experiences she has had.
- She established a dance academy as head choreographer in 2008 and was functional until 2010.
- After exploring opportunities in Delhi on classical dance, Samiksha came to Mumbai to explore possibilities for action.
- She considers having dreamed of becoming an actor while continuing the dance.
- Her biggest break was when she starred in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas ... Veera (Star Plus) . Followed by this, she played pivotal roles in famous soap operas like Uttaran (Star Plus) , Devon Ke Dev ... Mahadev (Life Ok) , Baal Veer (TV SAB), Kum Kum Bhagya ( Zee TV) and some other well-known series.
- Her interest in the game also took her to the world of Bollywood.
- She had the opportunity to play a cameo role in Madhur Bhandarkar's Calendar Girls in 2015.
- Her portrayal of a businesswoman in the film was well received. Followed by this, Samiksha Bhatnagar finished filming the Shreyas Talpade directed by Poster Boys, which features Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol as well as Shreyas Talpade himself in the lead role.
- In the film, she plays the character Surajmukhi in front of Bobby Deol. The film is released on September 8, 2017.
