- He was born into a Delhi based Punjabi family with roots in Pakistan as his grandfather came from Peshawar to India during the partition in 1947.

Career:
Mohit Marwah began his career as Deputy Director of Vikram Bhatt.Engage in the activities of the production process of three films, namely Elaan (2005), Jurm (2005) and Deewane Huye Pagal (2005).
He starred in a short film "The Audition" produced by his brother Akshay Marwah, directed by Karan Boolani and music supervised by Amit Trivedi.
Subsequently, he got his break in the mainstream when was signed by Akshay Kumar for the feature film Fugly in front of Kiara Advani
Recently, he starred in a video starring Anmoll Mallik, the debut single of the singer's daughter and music director Anu Malik, Lamhein, which is a reenactment of Coldplay's success in 2011, Paradise. featuring Mohit with Anmoll herself.
In 2014, Mohit was named one of the best men dressed in Bollywood by GQ India. Joining his celebrity status as a fashion star, were famous personalities like Saif Ali Khan, Abhay Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Ayushmann Khurrana.
He was also featured in GQ India's flagship collection, released in the spring and presented by Italian fashion label Gucci.
Mohit Marwah also appeared on the ramp of famous fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani in New Delhi to show his support for a social cause. The show was organized to educate communities to help children with autism.
