| The 49th edition of Miss World took place on December 4, 1999 in Olympia, London. Mookhey was crowned Miss World 1999 with 93 delegates from other countries. The film proved to be a box office failure.In 2005, she starred in two movies Memsahab and Love in Japan, and in 2006, she appeared in the Kathputali video clip.On September 7, 2008, Mookhey became engaged to Prince Tuli, a New York-based businessman and financial consultant, at a ceremony held at the Grand Maratha in Mumbai.
