Sudha Chandran is an Indian film and television actress and an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. In June 1981, she lost a leg to gangrene following a road accident near Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, while returning from Madras with her parents.  She continued to dance, however, and later became an established dancer of Bharatnatyam. Chandran is known for her roles as Ramola Sikand in Kaahin Kissii Roz, Yamini Singh Raheja in Naagin, Chitradevi in Deivam Thandha Veedu, Tamil remake of Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Anand's first wife at Hum Paanch (season two) . She is an Indian film and television actress and an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. She began his career with a Telugu film "Mayuri", based on his own life. The film was then dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam.  It was also remade in Hindi under the name of Naache Maayuri, where Chandran once again played and played with Shekhar Suman, Aruna Irani and Dina Pathak. She received the Special Jury Award at the National Film Awards for her performance in Mayuri  in 1986.

Career

Chandran's outstanding shows on television include Kaahin Kissii Roz and K Street Pali Hill. She participated in the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 in 2007. She appears as a yamini in the television series Naagin 2015.
