At the age of five, Pilgaonkar appeared for the first time on television in the Hindu series Tu Tu Main Hand. In the popular sitcom, she played the role of the neighborhood boy Bittu.Pilgaonkar then made his stage debut in 2012 with his performance in Karan Shetty's ten-minute piece, Freedom Of Love. The piece was part of the NCPA Short and Sweet Festival. In the room, she acted, sang and danced.
After his performance in Freedom of Love, Pilgaonkar made his big-screen debut with the 2013 film Marathi Ekulti Ek. In the film, she plays the role of Swara, daughter of Arun Deshpande (Sachin Pilgaonakar) and Nandini (Supriya Pilgaonkar). He was offered the role of Swara by his father (Sachin Pilgaonkar) who wrote, directed and produced the film. Pilgaonkar said, "He was credited for throwing a lot of talent, including my mother, and when he offered me the film, I did not want a favor, but he corrected me saying, I'm not stupid to invest resources for no reason.
In addition to being an actress, Pilgaonkar is also a director and producer of short films. In 2012, she went to Harvard University for her summer school, which led her to work on her own short films. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she said: "Once I felt confident, I made Painted Signal, a short film, and Panchgavya", a documentary she co-directed with Hana Kitasei. He examines the fate of the cows as they wander in Bikaner in Rajasthan.She also co-directed and edited the short film Dresswala with Siddharth Joglekar, who was an official selection at the 2012 Mumbai Film Festival. Painted Signal and Dresswala received average responses from critics and were screened at international festivals.
