Career
| She has three sisters, Neeti Mohan, Mukti Mohan and Kriti Mohan. Mohan is originally from Delhi but has been living in Mumbai since 2006. She studied at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, an internship, and has a Master's degree in Political Science from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai. She aspired to become an IAS officer before participating in Dance India Dance. A skilled contemporary artist, she graduated from the Terence Lewis Dance Foundation Scholarship Trust in 2009. After winning the second season of Dance India Dance, Shakti produced dance calendars for 2012 and 2013.In 2012, she collaborated with composer Mohammed Fairouz on a dance project funded by the BBC in New York. She also produced a dance music video with her sisters. In 2013, Mohan launched a YouTube channel with dance instruction videos. Parineeti Chopra who came as a guest to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa confessed that she was a fan of Shakti Mohan. Tags:
