|Richa Chadda is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. After his debut with a little role in the comedy film Oye Lucky! Lucky eye! (2008), she worked as an actress in several films. Her major breakthrough was a supporting role in the film noir gangster saga Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), where her role as a belligerent and extremely rude gangster woman earned her a Filmfare Award. His only foray into mainstream cinema was supporting Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013).
In 2015, Chadda debuted in a lead role with the drama Masaan, playing a girl taken after having casual sex. The film was applauded during its screening at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was cited as a milestone in Chadda's career and, through her, would have created a niche for herself in the Hindi film industry.Chadda also worked in the theater, trying the role of a married woman in Delhi in Trivial Disasters (2014).

|Chadda made her acting debut as a dolly in Oye Lucky directed by Dibakar Banerjee in 2008! Lucky eye! Rajeev Masand of CNN-IBN described it as a "revelation" in the film . She appeared in the humorous film Benny and Babloo in 2010 under the name of Fedora. Taran Adarsh reviewed for Bollywood Hungama said Chadda "stays with a confident portrait" and Koimoi's Komal Nahta said she lends "good support" in the film. Meanwhile, a Kannada film in which she played, titled Nirdoshi, was released in 2010 after a delay of nearly 3 years.
Chadda's first release in 2013 appeared in Fukrey's film, a comedy starring Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, in which she played a very tough woman, Don Bholi Punjaban. Taran Adarsh wrote "Richa Chadda is in a formidable form and from his introduction itself, the film's graphic is heading north."She then appeared in one of the segments of the anthology film Shorts, produced by Anurag Kashyap and entitled "Epilogue". Chadha and Shirvastav play a dysfunctional couple that seems extremely unhappy. The segment starring Chadda has received mixed criticism from critics.
In 2017, Richa starred in an Indian web series entitled Inside Edge, starring a troubled actress. The series was positively received by critics and the public. The same year, Jia Aur Jia was released. The film has been criticized by critics and has not performed well at the box office
