Khanna makes her acting debut with the daily soap opera Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi on NDTV Imagine as "Ragini Sharma". In 2009, Khanna starred in the Sony TV television show, Bhaskar Bharti. Khanna also appeared as a guest in an episode of 10 Ka Dum, Khanna won an amount of 1,000,000 rupees and donated money for a charity. She was also seen as a guest on the Imagine TV reality show titled Big Money: Chota Parda Bada Game .
In March 2010, Khanna appeared on Star Plus's Sasural Genda Phool show.]She starred as Suhana Kashyap, an arrogant but very good person who marries a member of a mixed middle-class family. The show was broadcast on April 21, 2012. Her performance of Suhana has earned her many awards, including Patni's STAR Parivaar Award and BIG Star, the most entertaining television show-female. She also appeared in a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 4.
In 2011, Khanna made her Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Teen They Bhai. In 2013, Khanna worked in the Punjabi film Bhaji in Problem . the film got a good collection of box office receipts . It is expected that Khanna will play in front of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Pushpendra Mishra's next humorous film, Ghoomketu, due out later in 2018.
