|Pooja Bhatt is a director, actress, voice-over, model and Indian filmmaker. She is the eldest of Indian director Mahesh Bhatt.
Bhatt was born on February 24, 1972 to Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt (born Loraine Bright). On the side of her father, Bhatt is mainly of Gujarati origin and on her mother's side, she is of English, Scottish, Armenian and Burmese descent. She is the daughter-in-law of Soni Razdan. She has a brother, Rahul Bhatt and her half-sisters Shaheen and Alia Bhatt.His cousins are Hitarth Bhat and Emraan Hashmi.

|Bhatt made his debut at the age of 17 in 1989 with Daddy, a TV movie directed by his father Mahesh Bhatt. In the film, she played a teenager in a romantic relationship with her father, played by actor Anupam Kher.
His best-known films in the 1990s included Sadak against Sanjay Dutt (1991), Junoon alongside Rahul Roy, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Aamir Khan (1991), Sir (1993), Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee (1993), Tadipaar (1993), Ghuneghar (1994), Naaraaz (1994) with Mithun Chakraborty, Hum Dono with Rishi Kapoor, Angrakshak with Sunny Deol (1995), Chaahat with Shahrukh Khan (1996), Tamanna (1997) ), Super Border (1997) and Zakhm (1998), opposed to Ajay Devgan. Bhatt has also played in some successful regional Indian films.

His latest movie was in Everybody Says I'm Fine! in 2001. It has since concentrated on production and production. She made her debut as a director with Paap in 2004, starring John Abraham and Udita Goswami. Since then, she has directed four other director projects: Holiday (2006), Dhokha (2007), Kajraare (2010) and Jism 2 (2012).
