|Pallavi Sharda is an Australian actress and dancer trained in Bharatha Natyam .
Sharda was born in Perth, Australia , by Hema Sharda and Nalin Kant Sharda. His parents are from Delhi, his father is Punjabi. Both parents are IIT graduates and have a doctorate in science and engineering. They emigrated to Australia in the 1980s before his birth. Sharda arrived in Melbourne as a toddler where she grew up in the northwestern suburbs. She went to school at Lowther Hall in Essendon where she obtained a scholarship and began her studies at the University of Melbourne at the age of 16 and obtained her degree in languages. |Sharda started his Bollywood career playing a cameo in Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan (2010). In March 2010, Sharda was crowned "Miss India Australia" in Sydney. She then starred in the comedy drama Dus Tola (2010) against acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee, in which she played Geeta, a village dance teacher. Sharda's performance has been identified as the best feature of the film by the Times of India . In 2011 and 2012, Sharda was the lead actress in the theatrical musical Taj Express, directed by Shruti Merchant and choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant .
Sharda made his Australian film debut with the comic film Save Your Legs, which was released on February 28, 2013 . She then appeared in Abhinav Kashyap's Bollywood film, Besharam . in which she depicts a woman whose car is stolen by a small thief. Sharda's next Bollywood project, Hawaizaada, was released around the world on January 30, 2015. Directed by Vibhu Puri and co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Mithun Chakraborty, the film is inspired by the true events of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade. plane in 1895 in Bombay.
Sharda joined the Sony ESPN team as the new face of the 2016 IPL Indian Premier League (IPL). Sharda joined Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman in the Hollywood movie Lion in 2016. Her next Bollywood film, Begum Jaan, was released in April 2017. Sharda was critically acclaimed for her portrayal of Gulabo, a sex worker in rural Punjab, at the time of the partition of India by Pakistan.
