She then starred in the award-winning romantic comedy Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), which earned her many accolades. She starred in The Myth, a Chinese film, with Jackie in 2005. She played the role of an Indian girl who saves Chan's character from a river. The myth was his first international film. Her  appearance at the Cannes Film Festivalto promote the film attracted a lot of attention, Richard Corliss of Time magazine calling it "the next big thing". She featured with pop star Bruno Mars in his parody video of Salt-N-Pepa Whatta Man for the comedy site Funny or Die in 2012.

Career

Before entering the movies, Sherawat appeared in television commercials with Amitabh Bachchan for BPL and Shahrukh Khan for Santro . She also appeared in Nirmal Pandey's "Maar Dala" and Surjit Bindrakhia's "Lak Tunoo" video.She made her debut in films with a small role in Jeena Sirf Merre Liye where she was credited as Reema Lamba. His performance in the 2006 film Pyaar Ke Side Effects, starring Rahul Bose, has been hailed by industry critics, commenting on criticism Raja Sen, and the film has done rather well at the box office.
