| Farah debuted in 1985 with Yash Chopra's Faasle versus Mahendra Kapoor's son, Rohan Kapoor . Although Faasle was a disaster, Farah has received many other offers such as Palay Khan, K.C. from Shakti Samanta. Bokadia's Naseeb Apna Apna and Love 86 from Pran Lal Mehta. She was part of such successes as Marte Dam Tak, Apache Apache, Love 86, Imaandaar, Ghar Ki Kahani Ghar, Diljalaa, Rakhwala, Hamara Khandaan, Woh Phir Aayegi, Veeru Dada, Numbri Bet Beta Dus Numbri, Begunaah and Muqabla. Yateem, of JP Dutta, was critically acclaimed, and this was one of her performance-oriented roles, with films such as Kaarnama, Naqaab, Khatarnaak, and Pati Patni Aur Tawaif, even if they were chess commercial. Her performance in hit movies - Woh Phir Aayegi and Begunaah - has been hailed by critics. In the 1990s, she worked with Aamir Khan in two films; Jawani Zindabad and Isi Ka Naam Zindagi, but both were beaten at the box office.
