|Ranjit Mallick (Bengali: born in 1944) is an Indian sheriff, movie actor who works mainly in Bengali cinema. He has worked in films like Guru Dakshina, Amader Songs, Sathi, Interview, Shatru and Mouchak.
He is particularly famous for his delivery of popular dialogues, in the 90s he was one of the greatest heroes enjoyed by Bengali films. Films like Indrajit, Shatru, Jiban Niye Khela, Nabob, Sathi, Nater Guru and Bajimat show his versatility as a lead actor and co-actor.

|Ranjit was born on 28 September 1944 in Calcutta, West Bengal, in the famous Mallick Bari of Bhowanipore (the Mallick family of the Vaidya community (Baidya), closely associated with the powerful Barat and Gupta families of Kolkata). which is famous for its Durga Puja.
Satyajit Ray threw it into his film Shakha Proshakha, where he played the role of a young man who was caught between values and tradition.
Since the 1980 film Shatru by Anjan Chowdhury, he started working on action roles. Her daughter, Koel Mallick is also a leading actress in the Bengali film industry.
