Mithila Palkar is an Indian actress known for her characters in the YouTube Girl in the City and Little Things series. She gained prominence in March 2016 with her version of the "Cup Song" inspired by Pitch Perfect's Anna Kendrick's cut song.  Entitled Hi Chal Turu Turu, Mithila's song became viral on YouTube with over 3 million views. 

In Bollywood, her first film was Katti-Batti by Nikhil Advani, in which she played the role of Imran Khan's sister.

Career

After graduating from Bandra's MMK College in 2013, Mithila gave her first audition at Quasar Padamsee's Quasar Theater Productions (QTP). The audition did not give him the role but Quasar gave him a behind-the-scenes job that was to run their Thespo theater festival. Her first major breakthrough in the Indian film industry came in June 2014, when she auditioned for the role of Imran Khan's sister in Katti Batti and was selected.

The film did not work well but it got noticed and received offers to act in the commercials of Maggi , Tata Tea and Zomato.After a short period of time, Dhruv Sehgal, who met Mithila at Thespo (QTP's annual theater festival), asked him to audition for the new satirical show of Filter Copy on YouTube titled News Darshan. She not only did this audition, but also did her first web series Girl in the City  for Bindass and a number of YouTube videos for Pocket Aces, including a web series called Little Things with Dhruv Sehgal,  which got a lot of popularity and was also published as a book by Penguin Random House. In June 2017, Mithila made her debut in Marathi cinema with the film Muramba with Amey Wagh .
