Vedhika is an Indian film actress who appeared in the films Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. She made her breakthrough by interpreting Angamma in Bala's Paradesi (2013), winning rave reviews and nominations for her performance.


Vedhika enrolled in the Kishore Namith Kapoor School to learn the actor and dancer skills for a career in film . During her time, she was involved in modeling missions and made a notable publicity for biscuits alongside actor Suriya. She was then approached by Arjun to attempt the lead role in her Madrasi production (2005) and Vedhika accepted the role. His role was largely unnoticed due to the fact that the film was based on Arjun's action image, with a critic describing his performance as "adequate" [3]. After the release of Madrasi, Vedhika signed a great film in the Hindi language Jai Santoshi Maa, a remake of the 1975 homonymous film, but the film could not materialize afterwards and Vedhika continued to play in the films of South of India She then became part of the comic horror of Raghava Lawrence Muni, but her role was minimal once again and the film went on to become a rude commercial medium . His first Telugu project was in Vijayadasami, a remake of the Tamil film Sivakasi, where his performance was described as "good" and "average" by critics . Retrieved on October 18, 2011.

His first release in 2008, was the Silambarasan Starrer Kaalai, received negative reviews and became a commercial failure. However, the film became famous for the dance number, "Kutti Pisase" with the Vedhika dance being criticized. She then appeared in a second successive film which was criticized by the critics and which became a financial failure with a role in Sakkarakatti. Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj made his debut in the lead role and A. Rahman provided the soundtrack, but the role of Vedhika was described as one of the only positive points of the project.  Later in the year, she starred in a Kannada film, Sangama in front of Ganesh, and the film went to get her good reviews for her performance. In 2009 she appeared as the radio jockey Anjali in Malai Malai of A. Venkatesh with the film accordingly going to become a commercial success. The film had little room for Vedhika and critics cited her role as "pure eye candy" while claiming she was "fit" for the role.  She made a return to Telugu movies the same year, with a role in critically acclaimed Baanam . Her role earned her applause, while her on-screen presence with Nara Rohit was praised with a critic citing that she gives "good company as the naive girl" and it is "refreshing to see them together." After the release of Baanam, Vedhika took a sabbatical and did not sign other films until he made an appearance in a notable publicity with Karthi for the airline Airtel. She signed and then presented in the film Telugu Daggaraga Dooranga in front of Sumanth, which opened to average reviews in August 2011.
