Shyamala made her acting in the Telugu television serial "Laya" along with Ravi Krishna, directed by J.V.S.Raju and produced by Gunnam Raju Ganja. She also acted with well known actors / actresses like Naga Chaitanya, Aadhi, Lakshmi Manchu, Taapsee Pannu, Sanam Shetty and Ananya. Vivaha Bandham, Abhishekam and Pattukunte Pattucheer.
