|Tusshar Kapoor is an Indian actor and producer from Bollywood, son of veteran actor Jeetendra and younger brother of Ekta Kapoor. He is also co-owner of Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures.
Tusshar Kapoor is the son of the famous Bollywood actor Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor. His sister Ekta Kapoor is a prominent television and film producer. He attended the Scottish School of Bombay where he was in the same class as Abhishek Bachchan. He then attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor for his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Like his father, Kapoor is a religious Hindu, and he practices Khatri Hindu Khatri. Kapoor opted for IVF and became a single parent of Laksshya Kapoor through surrogacy in June 2016.

|Before debuting as an actor, Kapoor worked with director David Dhawan as an assistant. Following this, he trained as an actor with Roshan Taneja and Mahendra Verma, in their drama school, and in dance with Nimesh Bhatt.
He made his debut in 2001 with the blockbuster Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, a remake of the super hit Telugu Tholi Prema, with Kareena Kapoor.He received the Filmfare Award for best first male film for his work in the film. He then played the role of Rahul in Kyaa's film Dil Ne Kahaa with Esha Deol. Kapoor then appeared in two other Telugu remakes, Jeena Sirf Merre Liye , and Yeh Dil,who performed rather well at the box office.
He then appeared in the production of Ram Gopal Varma, Gayab , in which Kapoor was appreciated for his work. From 2004, Kapoor played in commercial hits such as Khakee , Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Golmaal, Shootout in Lokhandwala in which he tried the role of the gangster Dilip Buwa. for his work, Golmaal Returns , Golmaal 3 , The Dirty Picture , Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, Shor in the City critically acclaimed, and Shootout in Wadala
In 2012, Kapoor participated in the "Fashion for a Cause" event that raised funds for homeless children.He co-produced the film Chaar Din Ki Chandni,in which he also played.
