Tovino Thomas (born January 21, 1989) is an Indian actor and model who appears mainly in Malayalam films. Tovino Thomas began her career as a model and appeared in numerous commercials. Tovino was selected as one of the most desirable men by Kochi Times in 2013. He made his acting debut in 2012 with the film Malayalam Prabhuvinte Makkal. He was noticed for playing the role of villain in ABCD (2013). After playing several roles in such films as 7th Day (2014), Koothara (2014), You Too Brutus (2015), Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), Charlie (2015) and Guppy (2016), the commercial success of Oru Mexican Aparatha (2017) and Godha (2017) have made him one of the future young actors of Malayalam cinema. Tovino won the Best Supporting Filmfare Award for his performance in Ennu Ninte Moideen.

He is an Indian actor and former model who appears in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut in 2012 with the Malayalam film Prabhuvinte Makkal. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Ennu Ninte Moideen in 2015. He also won the Kerala Film Critics Association Award for his performance in Mayanadi in 2017. He made his acting debut in Prabhuvinte Makkal directed by Sajeev Anthikkad in 2012.  He worked as an Assistant Director in Roopesh Peethambaran's Theevram. In ABCD (2013) he portrayed an antagonist. He appeared as the lead in the film Koothara which also featured Mohanlal. He played a lead role in Roopesh Peethambaran's second directorial venture You Too Brutus. Tovino has emerged as a model for Silver Storm Water Theme Park commercials, Athirappilly and Indulekha Hair Care Oil. Prabhuvinte Makkal directed by Sajeev Anthikkad in 2012, was his first film. Tovino played the role of Akhilesh Verma, the main antagonist, in ABCD, directed by Martin Prakkat. Tovino played a leading role in making Roopesh Peethambaran, You Too Brutus. Tovino worked as assistant director for Theevram of Roopesh Peethambaran during his pre-production stages. In 2014, Tovino appeared alongside Mohanlal in the film Koothara. He played the role of Thejus Varky in Guppy (2016). Tovino won the New Sensational Hero Award at NAFA 2017 for his performance in the film. In 2017, Tovino plays the role of cop in the horror film Ezra, with Prithviraj. The film brought in £ 50 crore at the box office. His next outing was Oru Mexican Aparatha, in which he played protagonist Pauly, a university politician. The film was directed by Tom Emmatty and based on SFI's victory in a union election at Maharajas College. The film was a box office success. His next film was the sports drama Godha, directed by Basil Joseph. Tovino announced his own production company with his director John Paul George and named him Guppy. Tovino was born into a Catholic family in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur as the youngest son of Adv. Ellikkal Thomas and Sheela Thomas. His brothers and sisters Tingston and Dhanya are his source of inspiration. He graduated from Don Bosco High School in Irinjalakuda and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Tamil Nadu College of Engineering in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He then worked at Cognizant Technologies as a software engineer. During his university life, he was in shape and modeling.
