He is best known for singing Naksh Singhania on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and being a finalist on the Bigg Boss 10 reality TV show. Mehra featured in Pepsi commercials, later Deo, Reebok, Hero Cycles, Honda, Priyagold Biscuits, Samsung and BlackBerry, and so on. He made his Bollywood debut with the film Sixteen in 2013.

He  is an Indian actor who works in Indian television, Bollywood films and web series. He is known for his roles in Indian TV shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Naksh Singhania and Sasural Simar Ka as Sameer Kapoor, and was a participant on the reality game series Bigg Boss 10. He began his acting career in Indian television industry through an episodic of Channel V India's crime drama Gumrah: End of Innocence in 2012. He next did two episodic roles respectively in the TV series Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Webbed 2 as Amar and Ravi, in 2014. His second Bollywood film Uvaa was released in 2015 wherein he worked as Anil Sharma. His second web series Crashh began streaming online on ALT Balaji and ZEE5 in February 2021 that co-starred Zain Imam, Aditi Sharma, Kunj Anand and Anushka Sen.

Career

He was also the main actor of the film Uvaa. In 2014, he played in an episodic role of "Webbed 2" as Ravi. In 2015, he joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Naksh Singhania and became the household name. As a participant in the Bigg Boss 10 reality show, Mehra was eliminated on day 101, becoming the show's finalist. He was one of Bigg Boss 10's top 5 competitors. Post Bigg Boss, he starred in the television series Sasural Simar Ka as Sameer Dhanraj Kapoor. On May 16, it was confirmed that he would participate in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 9. On June 22, it was announced that Rohan will be guest star in an episode of Laal ishq Roan.
