| Randeep Hooda is an Indian film actor who appears in Hindi films. Born in Rohtak, Haryana; Hooda studied at Motilal Nehru School in Sonepat, where he started playing in school productions. Later, he pursued graduate studies in human resources management in Melbourne, Australia, and upon his return to India he began to model and play in theatrical productions. Randeep Singh Hooda was born on August 20, 1976 in Rohtak, Haryana, India, Ranbir Hooda and Asha Devi Hooda. Hooda made his acting debut in the film Mira Nair Monsoon Wedding (2001), playing a non-resident Indian from Australia. Although the film was a critical and commercial success, Hooda waited four years for a second project.
