Randeep Hooda is an Indian film actor who appears in Hindi films. Born in Rohtak, Haryana; Hooda studied at Motilal Nehru School in Sonepat, where he started playing in school productions. Later, he pursued graduate studies in human resources management in Melbourne, Australia, and upon his return to India he began to model and play in theatrical productions. Randeep Singh Hooda was born on August 20, 1976 in Rohtak, Haryana, India, Ranbir Hooda and Asha Devi Hooda. His father is a surgeon and his mother is a social worker.He spent most of his childhood with his grandmother in their hometown, while his parents traveled a lot and resided for the most part in the Middle East..Hooda belongs to a Jat family. Hooda made his acting debut in the film Mira Nair Monsoon Wedding (2001), playing a non-resident Indian from Australia. Although the film was a critical and commercial success, Hooda waited four years for a second project. In the meantime, he worked in the theater and appeared in television commercials to provide for his financial needs. In 2005, Hooda was chosen as the male leader in Ram Gopal Varma D. gangster film.
