Private life
He was born into a business family in Jalandhar (Punjab, India). He is the youngest in the family with three older sisters. Kundra was educated at home, Mayo College, Ajmer, Rajasthan and earned an MBA he acquired in the United States.
He went out with his co-star Kritika Kamra from Kitani Mohabbat Hai. They both started as friends and then started dating for 2 years until they split up. He then started dating actress Madhura Naik for a few days, but both were separated.
Kundra goes out with VJ and actress Anusha Dandekar who is the sister of singer Shibani Dandekar who was a competitor of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Being a model turned actor, as well as a businessman, Karan is the owner of an international call center. He runs an infrastructure construction company for the new buildings under construction, alongside his father. Their last completed project is the 'Insignia Shopping Mall' in Jalandhar City (Punjab).
Career
Karan made his acting debut with the lead role of Arjun Punj in Kitani Mohabbat Hai (NDTV Imagine) in 2008. In late 2009, he starred Veeru in Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai (Sony TV ). After appearing in a cameo role as a ghost prince at Aahat (Sony TV), he continued to participate in the reality show, Zara Nachke Dikha on Star Plus in May 2010.
Karan starred Arjun Singhania in his next show Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2 (Imagine TV). The show was back on public demand. He was later seen as a guest at Gumrah - End Of Innocence (Canal V, Star Plus) followed by Gumrah - End Of Innocence Season 2 (Canal V).
He played the role of Karan Kapoor in Teri Meri Love Stories (Star Plus). Karan was later seen in V The Serial (Channel V) in 2012. He hosted Gumrah from 2012 to 2014. |
