| Johnny Lever is an Indian film actor and one of the most remarkable actors of Hindi cinema. Lever is one of the first stand-up comedians in India.Lever received thirteen Filmfare Awards nominations in Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role, and won the award twice, for his work in Deewana Mastana and Dulhe Raja . He began his career in 1984 and has appeared in more than three hundred Bollywood films. Lever was born into a Christian Telugu family, Prakash Rao Janumala, an operator of the Hindustan Lever Ltd and Karunamma Janumala in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was raised in the King's Circle area of Mumbai. His native language is Telugu. He is the eldest of the family of three sisters and two brothers.Rise studied in Andhra English high school education society until the seventh grade, but could not study further because of financial problems in his family. |

Career
Due to his increasing absences and since he was gaining stage performances, he left HLL in 1989 He did many shows and world tours with them, one of his first major tours with Amitabh Bachchan in 1982. At one of his shows, the actor Sunil Dutt noticed his talent and his potential and offered him his first film Dard Ka Rishta.
During this period, he also did some commercials for the incense Kachua chhap, directed by Shekhar Kapur. In 1986, he starred in a charity show called "Hope 86", in front of members of the Hindi film industry as a filler and was loved by the public. His talent was recognized, which led the producer Gul Anand by offering him the film Jalwa, alongside Naseeruddin Shah. Lever gets his first break in Tum By Hum Qurban, in which the famous TV and stage actress, Baby Tabassum, launches his son Hoshang Govil as a leader, then with the film Dard Ka Rishta, thanks to Tabassum and the late Sunil Dutt . Since then, he has appeared in more than 350 films, including films such as Tezaab, Kasam, Khatarnak and Kishen Kanhaiya. After Dard Ka Rishta, he was seen in Jalwa, with Naseeruddin Shah. |
