Imran Khan is an American actor of Indian origin , who appears in Hindi films. He is the nephew of actor Aamir Khan and director-producer Mansoor Khan, and the grandson of director-producer Nasir Hussain. He appeared as a child artist in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander  .Khan made his adult acting debut in 2008 with the romantic comedy Jaane Tu ... Ya Jaane Na, who was a critic and commercial success. His performance in the film earned him the Filmfare award for best first male film. After the failure of his next two films, Khan was written off by the media, calling him "a marvel of a movie".

Imran Khan was born under the name of Imran Pal on January 13, 1983 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, to Anil Pal, Software Engineer, and Nuzhat Khan, Psychologist. Imran's father is a Hindu of mixed Bengali and English descent;  He works as a senior manager at Yahoo in Silicon Valley, USA. Imran's mother is a Muslim from a family of films, daughter of director-producer Nasir Hussain, sister of director-producer Mansoor Khan and cousin of actor Aamir Khan.

Career

While he was training at the acting institute, Khan started networking and met with writer and director Abbas Tyrewala, who gave him the lead role in Jaane Tu ... Ya Jaane Na .  After producer Jhamu Sugandh struggled financially, they offered the script to Aamir Khan, who agreed to fund the film.

The romantic comedy received positive reviews and commercial success, generating 830 million pounds worldwide. Khan's portrayal by Jai Singh Rathore  - a boy who does not believe in violence - has been hailed by critics.

 Khalid Mohammed mentioned that "the company belongs to the beginner Imran Khan who offers intelligent and restrained performance."  CNN-IBN's Rajeev Masand called him "the best young actor" of the time, describing his performance as "unconventional". and vulnerable "and claiming that it has created" a lasting impression. "Khan won the best men's debut at the 54th Filmfare Awards, sharing the award with Farhan Akhtar.

After Jaane Tu ... Ya Jaane Na, Khan starred in Sanjay Gadhvi's thriller Kidnap. He was chosen asKabir Sharma, a kidnapper who kidnaps a girl to settle an old score with her father, played byMinissha Lamba and Sanjay Dutt, respectively. The actor initially hesitated to play the role because he could not relate to the character; according to him, he could not have done so without the support and support of Gadhvi.  In preparation for his role, Khan listened to rock and metal music for a year to become aggressive. 

In 2009, Khan starred alongside Dutt, Shruti Haasan, Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa in Soham Shah's action thriller Luck, playing Ram Mehra, a middle-class middle-class man who desperately needed money and ready asset.
