|Barun Sobti is an Indian actor in television and cinema. He began his acting career with Star Plus's TV series Shraddha , and after a negative role in the medical television series Dill Mill Gayye, Sobti starred in the television series Sony Baat Hamari. Pakki Hai , where he portrays a careless and irresponsible young man. Sobti played in the Star Plus show, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? for his portrayal as an angry and arrogant business mogul. He made his Bollywood debut in the movie Main Aur Mr. Riight , where he plays a noisy and enthusiastic man who dreams of becoming an actor. He returned to television with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 in which he played the role of an anti-hero on a mission of revenge. Sobti's second film, Tu Hai Mera Sunday, is released in 2017.

Sobti then played in the drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?He played Arnav Singh Raizada, a rude and suave businessman.
