Ishita began her career at Aap Kaa Surroor and Hijack. As a children's artist, she has also acted in many television commercials - Fortune Cooking Oil, Vaseline, Chandrika Soap, Dettol Liquid Handwash, Aacron Colors, Kinetic Nova, Colgate, Medimix Soap, Medicare Shampoo, Rejoice Shampoo, Nestle are some ads to name. She was a brand ambassador for the girls' clothing brand Peppermint. After graduation she returned to play in the hit Asha Black.
