Shruthi, known by her stage name Hariprriya, is an Indian film actress, model and dancer Bharatanatyam of Chikkaballapura, Karnataka. She works in the film industries of South India.


Hariprriya was born as Shruthi in Bangalore, but was raised in the town of Chikkaballapur [2]. She finished her education there, also training at Bharatanatyam. Later, her family moved to Bangalore, where she completed her pre-university course at Vidya Mandir College. His father was an aspiring actor and his grandfather, a theatrical personality.


Hariprriya participated in cultural programs. When she studied in Grade 12, director Richard Castelino saw images of her programs and offered her the lead female role in the movie Tulu Badi. She made her debut at the Kannada in Manasugula Mathu Madhura (2008), after which she was part of Vasanthakala. Her performance in political satire Kallara Santhe (2009) earned her a Filmfare nomination for best actress Kannada, while her upcoming film Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu published at rave reviews, making Hariprriya popular in Karnataka. In 2010, Kanagavel Kaaka [9] and Thakita Thakita, respectively first and first production of Bhumika Chawla, embarked on the Tamil and Telugu film industry. The latter were moderately successful. She then worked on Tamil and Telugu projects, working on Muran from Cheran in Tamil and Pilla Zamindar in Telugu. She was also part of the political drama Mukhyamantri I Love You, produced in 2008, which was not published.

In 2012, Hariprriya made his debut in Malayalam with Thiruvambadi Thampan. In her third film Telugu, Abbayi Class Ammayi Mass, she played a call girl and she did a two-week workshop to enter the character. In 2014 she returned to the cinema Kannada with the film of gangsters Ugramm. The New Indian Express wrote that it was "a strong performance of Hariprriya, which is natural in her act."] The film became a major commercial success and she would have made a "sensational return to Kannada movies." Sify wrote that Ugramm "did wonders in Hariprriya" as she then offered more Kannada projects. She has accepted to be part of the great films of the banner, Ranna and Rikki, as well as the comedy film Bullet Basya. She played a naxalite for which she was ordered to lose half her weight. She finished the shooting of Ranathantra that she had signed before Ugramm.

The next version of Hariprriya after Ugramm was Galata In Tamil, she has Vaaraayo Vennilaave to come. Her next release in Telugu was Eee Varsham Sakshiga in which she was playing Seetha Mahalakshmi who, she says, "is modern, but has a traditional perspective." She also reportedly signed the film of Malayalam Bhadrasanam, the sequel to the popular Anandabhadram in which she was called to play an air hostess who is also a medical student.
