Before making his film debut, Sreemukhi began his career with the hosting of a television show Adhurs and also hosted the famous singing program Super Singer 9.
Sreemukhi made his debut as Raaji in the film of Julai as sister of Allu Arjun under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas and Prema Ishq Kaadhal as lead actress in the direction of Pavan Sadineni. She also acted in Nenu Sailaja as Ram's sister in the Swecha film. The following year she made a small cameo in Sekhar Kammula's Life is Beautiful and was the main actress of Dhanalakshmi Talupu Tadithey and Savitri of Nara Rohit.
With her, she also directed her first Tamil feature film called Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai paired in front of Sathya. Sreemukhi also made her debut in Kannada Chandrika's film with her brand performance which turned out to be a bilingual film.

Sreemukhi revealed that she weighed 96 kilos at one point. It was then that she took a diet and practiced seriously.
Sreemukhi has a nearly perfect figure. Fortunately she! She is not a gym enthusiast. She enjoys a morning jog to enjoy the fresh air. She also hits the treadmill in her house for 1 hour a day. Sreemukhi also practices yoga twice a week to increase her overall well-being.

Lunch: 2-3 chapatis with dal or sabzi. During filming, Sri prefers to have juice with snacks for a quick and healthy bite.
Dinner: Sabzi and salad. Soup is something the lady likes for dinner because it is light and easy to digest.
She makes a conscious effort to drink at least 12 glasses of water every day to wash all the toxins in her body and keep her skin hydrated.
