Bhaagamathie works pretty well in the Telugu states and also at the box office in the United States. But this is purely related to the Telugu version and if we have to talk about other versions of the film, the result is shocking. Although this Anushka starrer impressed the Telugu audience, it seems that Tamil people did not connect to it.Previously, there was a discussion in Tollywood also that director Ashok cheated the public by promising a horror film, but in the end turning into a political drama. But in reality, movies do it all the time, and that's what they call a cinematic twist. But the Tamil public would have felt like they did not want to eat pizza again and again.
In the film "Pizza", the lead actor actually tells a horror drama but finally concludes that he played a game to make everyone believe that it is a horror drama but he has everything planned. We can find the same hue in "Raju Gari Gadhi" where the total piece is nothing more than a game played by the main actor as if it were a horror movie. And then "Bhaagamathie" had the same concept, although the Telugu audience accepted the film, thanks to Anushka. For the Tamil public, this repetition of the idea seemed to bother them. With Bhaagamathie also eating pizza as a concept, the audience in Sambar's country rejected the movie altogether. Because these days, they watch pure horror dramas in cinemas.
