About Saloni Aswani Career

Saloni Aswani is an actress and model of Indian film. After completing her studies, Saloni ventured into modeling, appearing in various television commercials. She continued her career in topical films in the Hindi film Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa (2003), after which she played in several South Indian films, with no outstanding commercial success. She took note of her performances in the Maryada Ramanna by S. S. Rajamouli (2010), which led to roles in other leading remote control productions.

Saloni was born in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra in a sindhi language family as a vandana. His father was a deputy commissioner for narcotics. The family moved to the CGS quarters in Wadala, Mumbai, when she was about 5 years old. After completing her studies, she enrolled at Shreemati Nathibai Damodar University Thackersey Women's University (SNDT) near New Marine Lines / Churchgate, Mumbai, and graduated in psychology.

She was always interested in acting and was supported by her mother, while her father wanted her to "do a respectable job." Without her father's knowledge, she created a portfolio and sent it to the modeling agencies. She has appeared in several television commercials such as Vaseline, Lifebuoy, Parachute Oil, Moove, Chic Shampoo, Three Roses and Meera soaps. Throughout her academic career, she has always participated in dramas, particularly imitating Sridevi. She also participated in a Kala Sansad theater group and attended acting classes at the Ashok Kumar Academy of Dramatic Arts, directed by her daughter, Preeti Ganguly.

She made her actress debut in the 2003 Hindi film Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya, directed by Sawaan Kumar Tak, who renamed her as Saloni. She then appeared in her first film Telugu Dhana 51 (2005) and followed her with Oka Oorillo, both of which ended up as commercial failures. In 2006, she played in 5 films, playing main roles at Chukkallo Chandrudu and Kokila in Telugu and Rehguzar and Saawan ...
