The chief minister of Tamil Nadu is no longer. Jayalalithaa blows his last on December 5, 2016. Jayalalithaa is often referred to as 'Amma' of the state of Tamil Nadu. She held the position of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for over 14 years between 1991 and 2016. Prior to entering Tamil Nadu politics, she was a popular actor who has the merit of having played in about 140 films In Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi Films.
