Udhayanidhi Stalin is an Indian producer and actor who has worked on Tamil language films.  Stalin entered the film industry as a film producer and distributor with his production studio, Red Giant Movies, and directed films including Kuruvi (2008), Aadhavan (2009) and Manmadan Ambu (2010). He then made his debut as an actor through the romantic comedy, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012), and has since continued to produce and play in his own films.

Career

Udhayanidhi Stalin's first film as a producer of Red Giant Movies was Kuruvi (2008) with Vijay and Trisha, and two films by K. S. Ravikumar - Aadhavan (2009) with Maniyanan Ambu of Suriya and Kamal Haasan (2010). He produced AR Murugadoss's science fiction film 7aum Arivu (2011), while working as a distributor, achieving four successes in 2010: Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa of Gautham Menon, Madrasapattinam of Vijay, Engira Bhaskaran of Rajesh and Mynaa of Prabhu Solomon.

He has signed for films with directors Gaurav and suseenthiran.
Now, he plays the role of hero in the Tamil remake of the hit film Malayalam "maheshinte prathikaram". The director of Bollywood, Priyadarshan, is the director of the Tamil film S (not yet finalized his name). This film is directed by Moonshot Entertainment by Mr. Santhosh T. Kuruvilla.

Personal life

Udhayanidhi Stalin is the son of former Tamil Nadu Deputy Prime Minister Mr K. Stalin and the grandson of former Tamil Nadu Prime Minister Karunanidhi. Several of his relatives have been actively involved in politics and Tamil cinema since the 1960s. His cousins ​​Arulnithi and Dayanidhi Azhagiri are respectively actors and producers. Stalin is married to Kiruthiga, who runs the lifestyle magazine Inbox 1305; she also directed the movie Vanakkam Chennai (2013) for Red Giant Movies.
