Chandrabose (born Kanukuntla Subhash) is an Indian scholar who writes songs for Tollywood movies. He was also a singer of reading at the beginning of his cinematographic career. He has won a number of awards as the best letrative.

 Biography

Chandrabose comes from the village of Challagariga in the Warangal district of Telangana, where he graduated from high school. [Citation needed] He earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University in Hyderabad. At the beginning of his career, he tried to work as a singer in Doordarshan, without success. He then decided to go to work as a lyricist.

His friend Srinath, who suggested the change, introduced him to director Muppalaneni Shiva. Siva had already directed Gharana Alludu and started production on the Taj Mahal. Music director Mr. Sreelekha helped him with his first film song, "Manchu Kondalloni Chandramaa", in 1995.

Chandrabose married Suchitra, choreographer of the Telugu film industry.

Awards

Chandrabose received the Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 2002 for "nee navvula thelladanaanni" in the movie Aadi and in 2004 for "Cheekatito Veluge Cheppenu Nenunnanani" in Nenunnanu.
He won Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist - Telugu - Manam (2014) - "Kanipinchina Maa Amma" song
