January 2017 proved to be the month of "Comeback of Seniors", whether in Tollywood or Indian cricket.
First, it is the turn of two legendary heroes of the Telugu cinema, the megastar Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna Nandamuri to hit gold at the box office of Tollywood with their respective films Khaidi No.150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni.
While Megastar is about to record the non-Baahubali hit industry after its 150th film collected Rs 80 Cr shares in just 8 days, Balayya scored the greatest success of his career with his 100th inching film by Rs 50 Cr Share.
The 150 and 100 numbers have been counting in Telugu states since the discussions on these two films surfaced.
Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni scored 150 and 100 (134 to be precise) respectively in the same match, the 2nd ODI against England on Thursday.
The monumental efforts of Yuvraj 150 (121 balls - 21 kilns, 3 six) and Dhoni 134 (122 balls - 10 kilns, 6 six) raised India from a disastrous 25-3 to a mammoth 381.
Interestingly, this runs of 150 races is the highest score of Yuvraj Singh in ODIs and its century after 5 long years. On the other hand, Dhoni struck a century after a hiatus of 4 years. So it's a huge return for the two seniors.
Now, we can proudly say that our "Senior Bosses" are back in 2017.
